HELGA JOERGENS-LENDRUM
PAINTER
Helga creates figurative or abstract drawings, paintings and monoprints either from observation or the imagination.
She studied History of Art, History and German Literature at the universities of Hamburg and Göttingen, Germany, graduating with a doctorate in History of Art.
In Germany Helga worked in research and curated exhibitions in two public art galleries, before moving to London in 1990. She taught History of Art and Design in Further, Higher and Adult Education in London, and studied Paper Conservation at Camberwell College of Art, London, graduating with an MA.
Helga’s work will be exhibited alongside 24 other artists at the west Norfolk taster exhibition, as part of Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios 2019.
