West Acre Gallery will be open throughout the Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios 2019, from 25 May to 9 June.


An exhibition featuring the contemporary works of Slovakian artist Stanislav Ondruš will examine the meaning of time and being, through a series of stunning drawings, paintings and installations.

The exhibition will be open every day (excluding 31 May) from 25 May to 2 June at West Acre Gallery.
Opening hours: 11am-2.30pm weekdays, 10am-5pm weekends.


Local artist Carolyn Ash will be holding a mosaic workshop looking at colour, for ages 8 upwards.

Make a memory piece in mosaic using tesserae, including ceramic, china and recycled objects, and learn about the magic of mosaic.

Mosaic workshop: Friday 31 May, 10am-4pm at West Acre Gallery.
Cost: £45, includes refreshments.


Across the yard from West Acre Gallery, artist Abbey Stirling will open her studio, Ilka Interiors, to the public, where she creates quirky homewares and upcycled furniture, including decoupage lamp and light shades using vintage graphics, retro side tables with hairpin legs, and a new range of exclusively designed luxury cushions.

Abbey’s work will be available to view and to buy on the following dates: May 25, 26, June 1, 2, 8, 9.
