Due to the new lockdown restrictions this event has been postponed from the originally dates of 28 + 29 November, to the 12 + 13 December. We hope to see you there!

A socially distanced market in a magical festive setting.

Covid is threatening to steal Christmas, but the festivities aren’t cancelled at West Acre Gallery. While the venue’s second annual Festive Art Fair Weekend will be a scaled back, socially distanced affair, plans are still afoot for the November event.

It’s been a challenging year. Coronavirus restrictions have meant that many seasonal 2020 events have been axed, with venues reluctantly abandoning their Christmas programmes. West Acre Gallery’s Festive Art Fair has been modified to meet social distancing requirements, and will include stalls both indoors and out. The organisation’s top priority is to ensure the event is safe and delivered in line with government guidance.

Clear signage on social distancing and hygiene will be displayed, with plenty of spacing between stalls, limits on the number of customers inside, and visual aids to direct one-way flow through the premises and avoid congestion.

The fair will provide a unique shopping experience within a magical festive setting. Outdoor stalls benefit from a stunning backdrop of 12th century priory ruins, with hot beverages and delicious home-baked goods provided by a pop-up café to satiate any hungry shoppers queuing outside.

Stock up on stocking fillers, discover original art, and meet the talented and tenacious artists directly. Whatever your taste or budget, West Acre Gallery’s Festive Art Fair will offer a range of affordable quality visual art, homewares, cards and handmade gifts created by local independent artists, designers, makers and artisans. Now more than ever is the time to support artists and local businesses, the bedrock of our communities.

The Festive Art Fair Weekend will take place 11am-4pm, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December at West Acre Gallery.

Free entry.
