KAREN WADHAM

PAINTER, TEXTILES + MIXED MEDIA ARTIST

Karen works in various mediums, and she has always had a love of art and all creative work. Her initial experience was limited to A-level art and a crammer course of exploratory art. Retirement has enabled her to spend time exploring a myriad of opportunities to produce and develop different styles and types of artwork.

Her work continues to evolve and use various media and styles to create varied works. She uses diverse subject matter and opportunities within the natural world and her surroundings to inspire her work.

She is inspired by the use of alternative processes and ‘tools’, and enjoys experimentation.

Karen’s work will be exhibited alongside 24 other artists at the west Norfolk taster exhibition, as part of Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios 2019.
