JANETTE WILLIAMS

PAINTER

Capturing nature’s light and living character is key to Janette’s artwork.

Janette has recently moved to Norfolk to develop her creativity in art and teaching. She works mainly in oils and pastels, and focuses on three main subjects: pet portraits, ballet/dance and nature.

Her mix of realism and impressionism uniquely combine in her nature studies, and her understanding of human form shows in her ballet and dance paintings.

Loving animals, she loves to connect where possible with her subjects to capture their character and spirit that shines through in her finished pet portraits.

Janette runs art classes in ‘experimental watercolours and mixed media’ that are suitable for all abilities, and is open to doing further classes / daily workshops. Janette says that her classes are about learning, letting go, having fun and enjoying the pleasure of being creative.

Janette’s work will be exhibited alongside 24 other artists at the west Norfolk taster exhibition, as part of Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios 2019.
