WHERE THE RIVER GOES EXHIBITION, 16-24 JULY, 2022
In Where The River Goes, artist Elizabeth Fitzgerald Carter creates textured oil and acrylic paintings visually depicting the rivers and coast of East Anglia.
The rivers are serene, the skies are an expressive drama of swirling winds and cloud, and through it all liquid light flows and dances drawing audiences into the heart of these inspirational places.
ABOUT ELIZABETH
Elizabeth honed her skills as a self-taught painter before gaining a Fine Art Degree with Anglia Ruskin University and paints from her studios in Shouldham and the Isle of Luing in western Scotland.
Elizabeth is inspired by the flow of water and light in wild, liminal spaces often accessible only by kayak or boat.
She exhibits in Norfolk and Argyll and her work is in private collections in the UK and abroad.
