Painter Spencer Turner will be joining us this summer for a 10-day showcase of his latest work.

Spencer is a 30-year-old artist with the genetic disorder congenital adrenal hyperplasia. He finds that expression through visual art helps him to relax and cope with his health condition.

“The nature of my special needs means that I require support at times,” he says.

“I love to use posca pens because they bring out the colours I need for my artwork. I work on a variety of pictures, including local seaside towns, using my own different styles.”

Spencer’s exhibition will be open daily 10am-3pm, 11-20 July at West Acre Gallery.
