SPRING ART FAIR WEEKEND, 22 & 23 APRIL, 2023

It’s that time of year again. Spring is in bloom, and West Acre Gallery’s annual Spring Art Fair is on the horizon.

This year we will be celebrating our fourth birthday over the same April weekend, making it a double spring celebration.

Shop for affordable quality art, crafts and handmade gifts created by local independent artists at this year’s Spring Art Fair Weekend. Here is ‘meet the maker’ shopping at its best, set in the grounds of West Acre Priory, a hive of creativity and enterprise.

Expect beautiful gift ideas to suit all tastes and budgets, dip into neighbouring art studios to buy artists’ wares and watch them work, or enjoy a coffee and homemade cake in between shopping.

As a grassroots community venue, we’re all about supporting local creatives from the ground up. So celebrate our birthday and the arrival of springtime with the whole family. Meet the talented and tenacious artists directly, and discover this humble alternative to the commercial high street where you’ll find original paintings, prints, photography, illustration, ceramics, leatherware, jewellery, woodwork, weaving, homewares and textiles. All affordable, unique, and locally made.

There will also be a pop-up café by the Boston Travelling Tea Party. They’ll be providing tea, cakes and a variety of sweet and savoury bakes from Henry the Horsebox, who’ll be parked up in front of the ancient ruins.

The Spring Art Fair Weekend will take place 11am-4pm, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 April at West Acre Gallery, Abbey Farm, River Road, West Acre PE32 1UA.
