‘SUSPENDED IN TIME: SUMMER SENSATIONS’

As we fling our doors open for the second of three extended exhibitions in 2023, we invite you to enjoy the heady heights of summer. Welcome to ‘Suspended in Time: Summer Sensations’, our first ever summer showcase. The heat is on!

Here summer’s spirit comes alive like ice cream and Calypso. Bright candy colours rule supreme, so get set for a dazzling display of summer hues with sunflower yellows, watermelon pinks, lustrous lime greens and lavenders. It’s a spectacular full spectrum show starring Norfolk’s big skies and rugged coastline with rippled seas and statuesque trees.

Twenty Norfolk artists unite for eight weeks to present a variety of paintings, prints, drawings and mixed media works, with bold abstracts, mesmerising landscapes, moody seascapes and summer inspired ceramics.

We’re delighted to welcome back many of our resident artists including Jo Colman, Paul Smith, Peta Wainwright, David Lendrum, Helga Joergens, Nevine Hunt, Martin Gibbons, Patrick Hillard and Nikki Roberson, as well as some fresh faces: Christopher Low, Kirsty Devlin, Victoria McDonnell, Jax Vollenhoven, Jill Olenski, David Killick, Emma Jackson and Bryony Knight, plus several more.

As always our pop up gift shop is open with locally made crafts and art inspired gifts, cards and prints for sale. Enjoy!
